Programs for Seniors (PASSPORT, RSS, Care Choice, LongTermCareOmbudsman)
- this site describes four programs; PASSPORT
provides in home alternatives to nursing home care, RSS which provides
cash assistance for adults who need assistance with daily activities
such as bathing, eating or dressing but do not need skilled nursing
care, Care Choice Ohio which offers free in-home consultations on
long term care, and the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program which acts
as an advocate for those who receive long-term care services.

responsible for planning, coordinating and administering state and
federal funded programs and services for older adults. It is one
of twelve regional area agencies on aging designated by the Ohio
